I could just start off with how I into this mess but that’s too boring don’t you want to hear the details? It was just an average day at school I was late for class. Briskly walking past chattering classmates and teachers I make my way up to "The Hall". "The Hall" as most people call it is where most of my classes are except PE and Art. No idea where those are. I come into class my teacher is already going through introductions. "This was my dad's fault," I thought to myself. "He just had to take that phone call.
My family consists of my twin, brother, mom, dad, and my grandparents. We all live in the same house one side is where my grandparents live the other is where the rest of my family lives. We used to live on different sides of the island but we ended up moving in together. Most of it was my mom's idea. She wanted to get closer to family of course I didn't mind. What I did mind was the fact that we had to leave our old house and live in an apartment for 2 yrs me carrying a heavy baseball bag and a basket of laundry up 4 flights of stairs. My dad says it helps trains my muscles I wasn't so sure. I use to play Baseball for about 5yrs before I decided to quit. Now I am doing Karate. My teacher is pretty strict but he is also very funny at times. My brother reluctantly follows me in whatever I do sometimes he tries things that I don't want to do. I find him to be a little ignorant at times which annoys me constantly. Overall he seems to support me on my decisions. I know it seems dumb for someone to call at 6:00 in the morning but I guess the business world is not all peachy either. We were in the living room about to go to school. My dad takes my brother and I to school on his way to work. Just as we were about to go to school my dad gets a call from my aunty. My dad tried to keep it short but my aunty just kept talking. I really wished she didn't call at 6:00 in the morning. Being late ruined my mood for the day. Then I realized that this wasn't the latest I have ever been to school. I used to go to a school closer to my house but my parents decided to enroll me in a private school. They thought I could get a better education in private school than in public school. Despite the fact I was smart in public school I wasn't very prepared, my laziness got the better of me in my first year. I suffered the consequences. This public school was so close to my house it was barely a walk to get there. I forgot to set my alarm one day and I woke up at 9:00. Since I knew that school started at 8:00 I went to ask my brother "Hey, did we have a holiday today?" he said no. Boy, was that killer, somehow there is always something that goes wrong everyday. None of my days I can ever pass or do really good without something bad happening.
It felt like a library, everyone was silent and the teacher stared at me to make me more uncomfortable. I looked for a seat and sat down I was relived to hear that I wasn't the only late person due to the huge amount of traffic that I had to go through to get to school. As soon as class was over I went to look for my friends. I wasn't sure where they would hang out but since this is high school most freshmen or "Freshies" hung out together. I finally found them under a tree next to this large rectangular shape building that has two sort mini floors. I could hear the constant laughter of my friends as I approached the tree. Most people called it the freshman tree I don’t seem to like the title. Somehow my desires for school are locked in an endless cycle. When I am at school, I can't wait for summer so that I can get out of school. However when summer comes around I am away from my friends for so long it gets kind of boring.
As I walk to my next class, PE I looked at my schedule. It said that I had to go to TGYM in short the Gym. Entering the gym I could see the bleachers fully extended and another class just about to exit. Today was introductory day so I got to meet my teacher and classmates. I went to sit down in the bleachers to look for my teacher. As I waited I saw other classmates come to sit down next to me. Some of whom I knew from 8th Grade. I greeted them with the "guy" greeting. "Hey", "Sup" or just the upward movement of the head signified the interaction.
After more boring classes I began to feel very hungry so, I brought out my lunch to satisfy my hunger by eating some good sandwiches my dad prepared for me. Suddenly my friend comes up to and asks if I can help him with this project that he is doing. Not like I have got enough schoolwork to do. Sure I said. He led me to this huge bottle of some strange green liquid that I had to drink. After I drank that strange liquid I had to use the bathroom. Instead of going to the usual toilet, I found myself at the sink almost puking.
So here is where I kick off. You probably thought that the details would be more of that Indiana Jones or adventure type stuff. Well its not, I can tell you that this was not you average first day of school. This was in fact a special day. Not that I spent the rest 30 minutes in the sink trying to get this horrid stuff out of my mouth. What happened afterwards really just made my day.
As I walked back to the tree I began to think of how am I going to get back at my friend for making me do all that stuff. When I got back, my friend was laughing hysterically. "That’s not funny," I said, as I approached him. "Ok I'm sorry" he said, his name was Taylor. Taylor was a very brilliant guy but can play lots of tricks on you. I went to my next class Math. The teacher was very specific, she said you had to do this problem in the exact way or she will mark it wrong. Typical math you always have to have the exact answer. The bad part is that you will never know if you did the problem right because you don’t know the answer. After math was done I quickly picked up my stuff and walked out of the room. Usually I am the first person to leave. I don’t have much to pack I only take out the essentials pencil, textbook, and eraser. After math I headed back to the tree. As I head back to the tree I see Taylor running to me. He asks me, "where is art?" I said, "all the way across campus," Our school campus was huge; you would need a map just go anywhere. "Cool. Thanks" he said, and Taylor ran off.
This hour was a break for me. I got do anything I wanted for so I did my homework. It was very exciting, I could tell you all the details on how I did this problem and that problem. I also could tell you what happened next. As soon break was over I see Taylor, "Hey." I said, "Where's your bag?" Sometimes Taylor can get distracted and forget things. In this case he forgot his whole bag. The next moment I see Taylor running back all the way to the other side campus. He told me to wait for him because I was in his next class so he wanted to walk together with me. So I waited until he finally came back by then he was dead tired. As it just so happens they were painting a new bench and the painters left the paint can open. "This is my chance," I thought, so very discreetly I led Taylor over to the newly painted bench. I told him that class doesn't start for another 15 min, which was kind of true. Anyways he thought he was going to sit down on the bench. Well, I could tell you the end. How Taylor got wet white paint all over the bottom of his pants, but I leave the ending to you. I could also tell you that Taylor didn't go to his last class. Well that just about sums up my first day of school. I can't wait for the next day.
I am currently thinking of how to end this story how does it seem so far?
It is okay, but make it more clear when you talk about this year and your old
Give some examples of this, you know how Jason does things you don't or how he does what you do.
